Melody was the first cat I truly loved. The last couple of years she was alive were nice-she finally trusted me and was playful. I loved the way she and Missy greeted me when I got home from work!

Melody was such a special cat! She was extremely timid and skittish for about 8 years. I was convinced she had been abused. The last couple years of her life she seemed to finally realize I would never harm her.

Missykinstreasures is named in memory of my beloved cat Missy. She was a true treasure to me. What a big heart! She was the most affectionate cat I've ever had.
Missy was blind for the last two years of her life. She did amazingly well, though. She was hyperthyroid, and her kidneys eventually failed. She was such a loving little cat, I was heartbroken when I had to have her put down, and will always miss her and the affection she gave me.
Penny showed up here when both Melody and Missy were alive. She is our wild girl. Usually in the summer months she will disappear for days at a time. I worry, of course, but she will not remain inside. Penny acts like a caged tiger and is very unhappy if we don't let her out. Like most cats, she gets her way.

Ginger appeared in our yard one week before Missy died. She is a funny little cat! She loves her yellow ball, and plays with it often. It's the only time she is vocal. Her meows are quite pitiful! She loves Dad's lap, but always sleeps with me.
